1966
VALPADANA established SEP, specialized in manufacturing and marketing
mowing machines.
1968
SEP created the mowing machine with 1 wheel and side mowing bar, a
machine that was to become a reference point in ground care spheres.
1971
Always innovative, SEP produced a reversible two-wheeled tractor that
could also be used with frontal implements.
1975
The company began producing a family of steerage hoes designed to meet
specific requirements for soil working and small transporting jobs.
1981
The trailers hitched to the steerage hoes became an integral part of the
machines, which now turned into transporters.
1998
The hydrostatic assembly designed by SEP was installed in a small
tractor and marketed under the name of GULLIVER.
2000
SEP was taken over by ARGO S.p.A., holding company of the group to which
LANDINI S.p.A. also belonged. However, SEP still continued to be
autonomously run as regards technical, sales and administrative matters.
2001
SEP S.p.A. took on the new name of VALPADANA S.p.A. in 2001. This change
in the business name underscored the company’s renewed commitment in the
tractor manufacturing field besides strengthening its traditional
core-business sphere, i.e. manufacturing and marketing two-wheeled
tractors, steerage hoes and power-driven mowers under the SEP trademark.
Production was concentrated in the factory of San Martino in Rio, via
Don Pasquino Borghi, where VALPADANA S.p.A. has its registered offices.
2004
JUNIOR, the new hydrostatic tractor with 2 ratios and 12 to 16 HP power
ratings was produced. |
